Resource Utilization

Resource utilization is a measure of the proportion of resources that are available to perform a task that are actually used. Resource is a general term for people (human resources), equipment and machines (productive resources) and money (capital resources). Formulas: 1) Resource Utilization = Actual Resources Used / Total Resources Available; 2) Resource Utilization = Amount of time a Resource used/ Amount of time Resource available.
